There is so much pain and suffering in the world today, causing great discouragement for many. Jesus wants you to know that although the world is full of pain and suffering it does not mean you must be consumed in it. Jesus gave us victory over principalities and suffering. In Mathew 4:23 it reads, “And he went through all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people”. Luke 6:19 reads, “and all the crowd sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all”. When I read these scriptures, my soul jumped for joy because that same Power that Jesus demonstrated in the Book of Mathew is alive today! It was their Faith the ignited the Power of Jesus to consume their bodies and Heal them, and that same magnificent Power can will heal this land of suffering and principalities.
Jesus left us with a promise, He said in John 16:33, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world”. So at this moment, challenge yourself to find your peace in Jesus. Let Jesus bring you the peace you need in your circumstance. Have Faith in knowing that He is working on your situation. Although you may not see it now, trust that Jesus is working it out behind the scene. Spend time with Him by reading His word and in prayer. You will be amazed that as you spend time with Jesus and tell Himabout what is concerning you; youwill be happy about the peace that comes into your life.
